Rodrigo created the Gen-X saddle with the aim of offering jumping equitation riders a high-competition saddle with the latest technical advances and high-quality French vegetable-tanned and oiled leather at a very affordable price. This saddle incorporates the two latest technical advances in PESSOA saddles:
- The X-CHANGE system, through which the rider can easily change the width of the saddle's gullet. All this without altering the appearance of the saddle, without altering the strength and durability of the saddle and all in a simple way, using just a screwdriver. The gullet size can be modified in five different widths, from narrow to extra wide.
- Another system incorporated into the saddle is the AMS pannels, which, together with the elasticity of the PESSOA DUPONT carbon fiber saddle tree, make the saddle adapt perfectly to the horse's back and provide maximum comfort. The AMS pannels absorb shocks and distribute the pressure of the rider's weight across the horse's back, preventing injuries (see photo).
